Holy Trinity Academy and Chesterton Academy of Holy Trinity is seeking Elementary & Upper School Faculty.
Holy Trinity Academy and Chesterton Academy of Holy Trinity welcomes applicants to submit their resumes for the 2024-2025 school year for lower school level and upper school level positions. Holy Trinity Academy offers humanities courses, such as art, music and ballroom dancing, alongside the typical classroom offerings. We are searching for candidates for all subjects and have positions available for full time or part time.
Job Responsibilities
Provide instruction that fulfills the philosophy, vision, and mission of the school, under the direction of the Head of School.
Foster an authentically Catholic educational environment and academic excellence.
Plan and prepare engaging and age-appropriate lessons in assigned subject areas/grade levels.
Demonstrate effective, appropriate classroom management skills. Enforce disciplinary policies and procedures with students.
Encourage, facilitate, and monitor student development, using a variety of activities and methods. Assess students and accurately report progress.
Participate in teacher training, workshops, and formation.
Qualifications:
An active practicing Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church who provides a credible witness to the Catholic Faith.
A deep commitment to the importance and mission of Catholic faith and classical education.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in relevant field.
Pass background checks.
Exhibit competence and enthusiasm in age-appropriate instructional methods and knowledge of the subject matter to be taught.
Faculty members are required to attend daily Mass with the entire student body, and assist in leading spiritual retreats and school activities.
