We are excited to announce Mr. Tyler Pellegrin Ph.D.(c) as Holy Trinity Academy's first Head of School.
Mr. Pellegrin was born and raised in Thibodaux, where he attended St. Genevieve Catholic School and graduated from E.D. White Catholic High School. He went on to receive his B.A. degree from Louisiana Tech and then his graduate degree from Ave Maria University. While working toward his doctorate in Systematic Theology, Pellegrin taught undergraduate courses in Sacred Doctrine at Ave Maria. Pellegrin has authored several academic theological articles, with his publications extending from the United States to Italy and the Netherlands.
According to Mr. Pellegrin, his most notable achievement is his family—his wife Caroline and son Henry.
"Despite having lived in some of the best places in the country, my family only becomes more and more certain that, as far as we're concerned, South Louisiana is the exact center of the world," said Pellegrin. "As a theologian by trade and a South Louisianian at heart, to my mind, the human quests for truth and learning, praying and worshipping, belonging and celebration, all meet together in the community and mission of Holy Trinity Academy."
The Board of Trustees is happy to welcome Mr. Tyler Pellegrin and his family back to the Bayou Region. John Casey, Board Chairman, said, "As a board, we considered the weight of a decision like hiring the Head of School, the leader of our campus. This role will set the academic and spiritual culture for decades to come. We couldn't be more confident in Mr. Pellegrin's abilities to usher in this culture for our community as the inaugural Head of School. May God continue to bless Mr. Pellegrin and his family as they move back to the bayou and lead us all at Holy Trinity Academy."
Join us in praying for Mr. Pellegrin and all those whom God continues to call to the mission of Holy Trinity Academy. Follow us on social media and look for more information in the coming weeks about Mr. Pellegrin and his plans for Holy Trinity Academy.
